Service for cleaning and degassing of oil storage tanks at terminals and tank farms
The company offers a service for the internal cleaning of oil and petroleum products storage tanks. We have extensive experience in cleaning oil tanks and operating various treatment systems.
The main purpose of cleaning and degassing is to create safe conditions in the tank for its internal inspection, determine its technical condition, and perform the necessary repairs, including fireworks.
The technological solution of the JetPetroClean® Oman systems is based on the “closed loop” principle, in which the washing agent (water, aqueous detergent solution) circulates in a closed circuit from the washing system tank through the pressure pump to the washing jet, then from the tank to be washed back in the washing system.
At the same time, the washed hydrocarbons and impurities are pumped out of the tank together with the washing water. In the tank of the washing system, water is separated from the waste and is fed back through the pressure pump to the washing hydro monitor.
Cleaning and degassing the tank to a safe level consists of the following steps:
- Removing non-selectable product residue
- Washing the bottom of the tank from product residues, bottom sediments and sludge
- Preliminary degassing of the internal volume of the tank
- Washing the inner surface of the tank wall
- Internal ventilation, degassing and drying
